“In 2011, I shared a meal with Noah and his Haitian partner Elmond just outside of Puerto Plata, DR. During that meal we dreamed about the possibility of providing access to biblical training that is both doctrinally grounded and practically applicable. Fast-forward a decade and God has exceeded our expectations granting more than we had hoped and asked for in the way of trainers and students. HIT is filling a niche that is crucial by providing robust theological education to residents of Hispanola, both Haitian and Dominican, who otherwise wouldn't have access to it. This summer (2022), I had the joy of working alongside many of those current and former HIT students, both seeing and hearing evidence that God is indeed blessing churches and ministries through this innovative approach.
